SUMMARY:SEMINAR - THE TONGHE AND TMJ AND THEIR FASCIAL CORRELATIONS IN FLORENCE
DESCRIPTION:Teacher: Paolo Desiròfrom 9 to 12 May 2024\nFlorence\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe course is developed in a 4-day meeting. \nThe theoretical-practical program of the course includes teaching how to manage a patient with TMJ and tongue dysfunctions. \nThe seminar is set up to allow participants to have a holistic view of the stomatognathic system in relation to the rest of the body through and the correlations with the fascial chains\, which allow us to open and close the jaw and swallow. \nThe stomatognathic system is influenced by posture with compensatory attitudes that will disturb the physiology of the TMJ or tongue and must be interpreted and corrected manually\, as problems of the buccal cavity can alter the physiology of the fascial chains. \nThe course aims to deepen theoretically and with manual practice\, the dysfunctions concerning the temporomandibular joint and the dysfunctions of the swallowing system with the correlations that they have on postural attitudes. \nThe introduction to the knowledge of superficial and deep fascial chains will allow the student to acquire the ability to interpret the correlations of the stomatognathic system in relation to the musculoskeletal system and the visceral system\, this will allow us to interpret and restore the correct physiology of the temporomandibular joint. \n“… the teeth are the reflex of the skull\, the skull is the reflex of the teeth…” \nDr. A.T.STILL \nTRAINING AND TEACHING \nSince 2023 he has been a member of the Order of Florence FNOFI n° 156. \nFrom 2012 to 2023 he was a lecturer and head of fascial matter for the OSCE School of Osteopathy in Bologna \nSince 2018 he has been registered with the TSRM Order as a Physiotherapist of Florence n°161. \nIn 2016 he was a lecturer in Osteopathy in the Master’s Degree “Integrated Clinical Posturology in Developmental Age” at the University of Brescia. \nIn 2015 he was a lecturer in Fascial Osteopathy for the Asociatia Pentru Cercetare si Train in Osteopathies Romania \nFrom 2012 to 2017 he was a lecturer in Osteopathy at the first level University Master “Complementary Medicine and Integrated Therapies” Faculty of Medicine University of Siena. \nFrom 2010 to 2012 he taught at the CRESO School of Osteopathy and held post-graduate seminars on Osteopathy in the visceral field. \nSince 2007 he has been registered in the Osteopathic Register of Italy\, registration card no. 835 Rome It. \nSince 2006 he has been holding seminars for Fisiogym s.r.l Provider n° 2976 of the Ministry of Health. \nIn 2001 he completed the training of the Franco-Italian School of Osteopathic Manual Therapy. \nIn 1993 he graduated in Massage Physiotherapy\, a title equivalent to the Degree in Physiotherapy\, \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeminar Location: Via Guelfa 116\, Florence (S.M.N.
