It can be triggered by functional problems as well as pathologies. The majority of patients see an osteopath for a functional problem.<\/p>\n<p>Pain is a cry for help in relation to something wrong with the patient&#8217;s body. It is a very unpleasant and personal feeling, in fact each person has his own pain threshold that he manifests in a very subjective way. Pain tolerance varies greatly from person to person.<\/p>\n<p>Pain affects the balance of the patient&#8217;s psycho-physical health. It is physiological when it represents a defense system, which manifests an essential symptom to avoid damage to the body.
